What are the Management Excellence Awards?

There are many Awards programs out there in the business world, but the Australian Institute of Management's Management Excellence Awards are in a class of their own. They celebrate the individual contributions and achievements of outstanding managers, rather than the businesses or organisations they own and run.

These prestigious Awards have been run in Queensland and the Northern Territory for nearly 20 years. Many past participants say the Awards changed their lives and opened many doors to new networks and opportunities.

2011 Queensland Managers of the Year revealed

Last year's Management Excellence Awards Queensland State Final was contested on Friday 11 November 2011, with winners announced at AIM's Gala that night. Congratulations to the 2011 Queensland Managers of the Year and all the finalists from around the State.

2011 Northern Territory Managers of the Year revealed

Last year's Management Excellence Awards Territory Final was contested on Saturday 29 October, with winners announced at AIM's Gala that night. Congratulations to the 2011 Northern Territory Managers of the Year and all the impressive finalists.

AIM should be strongly congratulated for recognising excellence in management and leadership. I still see it as the biggest challenge for Australian business, and not enough emphasis is placed on it as a crucial requirement for business success.
