Cairns Spices Up the Management Excellence Awards

In 2006 the Cairns region is recognising management excellence in a new light, awarding local managers with a full day of celebrations.

Commencing with a one-day intensive MasterClass titled ‘The Meditating Manager’, facilitator Robyn Taylor FAIM will take MEA finalists and guests alike on a journey through ancient Eastern philosophies to modern management and inner balance.

The MasterClass is ideal for managers at all levels, teaching participants how to increase their energy levels, improve overall concentration and productivity and bringing some calm and inner silence to a demanding working environment.

The Cairns Regional Committee will then host the evening Cocktail Reception with Master of Ceremonies, Paul Taylor from WIN TV, and present the winners of the 2006 Professional, Owner, Young and Rural/Remote Manager of the Year.

These two prestigious events will be held at the five-star Shangri-La Hotel, one of the city’s most distinguished venues.
