Nominations now open for the 2006 Management Excellence Awards

Do you know a manager who stands out in the crowd, who leads from the front and inspires others?

If so then don’t delay and nominate them for the 2006 Management Excellence Awards.

The awards being held right across Queensland and the Northern Territory celebrate the achievements of individuals who lead and inspire others through the practice of management.

Nominations are being sought in the following categories:

Queensland

Professional Manager of the Year - senior managers and executives who work for their organisation in a professional management capacity

Owner Manager of the Year - managers who own or are a member of a partnership or limited company with no more than four partners or directors (one person only)

Young Manager of the Year - those managers 35 years of age or younger who lead an organisation or major business unit in a professional capacity or own and operate their own business which employs more than five people.

Rural/Remote Manager of the Year - managers who live and work 75 kms outside their nearest AIM network or provincial city. These managers will lead an organisation or major business unit in a professional capacity or own and operate their own business that employs more than five people.

Northern Territory

Professional Manager of the Year – Private Sector - Recognising senior managers and executives of medium to large companies who work for their organisation in a professional management capacity.

Professional Manager of the Year – Public Sector - Recognising senior managers and executives of medium to large companies who work for their organisation in a professional management capacity.

Young Manager of the Year - those managers 35 years of age or younger who lead an organisation or major business unit in a professional capacity or own and operate their own business which employs more than five people.

Owner Manager of the Year - managers who own or are a member of a partnership or limited company with no more than four partners or directors (one person only)

The awards are run across eight regions Queensland and the entire Northern Territory but are not just about the metropolitan centres.

Last year State Winners where from Townsville, Gladstone and Cairns so don’t let geography stop you nominate now.
