Seeking Australia’s Best Managers

Time is running out to nominate a manager who stands out in the crowd.

Hundreds of managers have been nominated as part of the 2006 Management Excellence Awards campaign but the search continues for Queensland’s Professional, Young, Rural/Remote and Owner Manager of the Year.

Northern Territory managers are also getting behind local business achievers nominating them in the categories of Professional (Private Sector), Professional (Public Sector), Young and Owner Manager of the Year.

The MEAs recognise managers who have shown outstanding management capability regardless of their industry or background.

Nominating someone is easy. They might be a colleague, a peer or a staff member who deserves recognition as an outstanding management professional.

Nominate online or call the MEA Hotline on 1300 882 895.

Nominations close 30 June 2006.

What Past Winners Had to Say...

The reflection that you need to do to complete the nomination forces you to ‘stop and take stock’, an important process for any manager but one which we too often neglect.

Ray Johnston, Principal, Tannum Sands State High School 2005 Queensland Professional Manager of the Year – Gladstone

I encourage managers anywhere to consider nominating themselves or a colleague so that they might share in and benefit from a program that affords participants tangible rewards.
