MEA Chair Calls for Nominations
At the recent Club 50 Luncheon, MEA Chair and AIM Board Member Helen Brodie FAIM, launched the Awards campaign and called for nominations from the Institute's most senior members.
Staging an Awards Program in a busy market' takes energy and commitment to long term goalssuch as promoting management as a profession and, by extension, promoting good management, leadership and good business.
In our many years of running the Management Excellence Awards in Queensland and the Northern Territory, we have received thousands of nominations and over 110 category winners and medalists have been acknowledged by their peers.
Already in my tenure as Chair I have been asked many questionsbut the one that sticks with me most is, What makes the AIM Management Excellence Awards unique in an already crowded awards market?
The answer lies in the way we celebrate the individual, their growth and development and their influence on so many others. This is AIM's contribution to the art of management.
Today we are starting the journey for 2007in leading the search for Queensland's best managers and we ask you to be on the hunt!
Who do you know within your spheres of influence who might fit the bill? Which CEO or Managing Director will you tap on the shoulder? Which entrepreneurial manager, no matter how busy they may be, will you encourage to consider these awards?
Which bright young thing' on the way to the top will you seek out? We invite you to take the time to speak to anyone at AIM from the Board through to management or our client services centre. They will be able to answer any questions you may have about the nomination process and the awards themselves.
Nominate online at managementawards.com.au or call 13 16 48. It's simple and takes only five minutes out of a busy day.
